This week sees the 40th anniversary of the Radio 1 roadshow.

I have very fond memories of appearing at the seaside towns for the roadshow. Blackpool, Brighton, Bournemouth, Birmingham.

Well maybe not Birmingham. Its not so much a seaside town as a building site that got hit by a bomb. I'd prefer a week in Syria.

Whatever happened to some of the presenters from the Radio 1 roadshow.
Jimmy Saville and Stuart Hall, I haven't seen them for ages.
We used to spend hours backstage and in Jimmy's caravan.

I'll have to get my agent to get in contact with them for a reunion.
