There were no excuses for yesterdays 2-1 defeat to lowly QPR.

But I did practise my angry face at the cameras, and rolled out a few cliches winning £10 off my assistant Pat Rice.

"We must bounce back in our next match"
" My players were too - 'ow yoo say - complacent"
"We 'ave to improoooove our attitude"
"We were beaten in too many domains"
"This performance was not good enough"

Media trained in the art of saying nuffin'...
Instead of bothering with post-match interviews they should just give us a form with boxes to tick.
