HOLLYWOOD - Three years ago the original Charlie's Angels, Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, and Farrah Fawcett filmed a full-length movie satirizing their television 70's show, Charlie's Angels.
The movie was titled Charlie's Angels - The Original T & A. The film was co-produced by the Zucker Brothers of Airplane and Naked Gun fame and Aaron Spelling of tons and tons of stuff fame.
A spokesperson for Miss Fawcett said that the movie was not released because the producer Aaron Spelling felt that the movie was more of a slapstick comedy than a serious comedy.
In one scene Farrah and Kate did a nyuk, nyuk, nyuk scene ala the Three Stooges. In another scene Jaclyn and Farrah did a takeoff on the classic Abbott and Costello "Who's on first" routine calling it "Who's on third."
Lee Majors, Farrah Fawcett's ex-husband stated that out of all the movies that Farrah ever made, Charlie's Angels - The Original T & A was by far her favorite because it was so much fun it made her feel like a little girl.
He said she especially liked the fact that she got to do her own stunts like falling off of a galloping horse, jumping out of a third story window, wrestling with a crazed rhinoceros, and arguing with Fox News host Bill O'Reilly.
Majors says that he recalls Farrah calling him up while he was finishing up filming a movie down in Mexico. She asked him if he would accept a cameo role where he would play her husband and they would both dangle from a helicopter rope ladder 5,000 feet up in the sky during a tremendous thunderstorm.
He told her that it would be his pleasure. He said that she was so thrilled that she started singing the song "My Guy" over the phone.
When Majors was asked how it felt being married to a true classy celebrity icon such as Farrah Fawcett, he just smiled...he slowly took a weathered photo of Farrah out of his wallet. He looked at it for a moment...and the tears started flowing.
