Singer Amy Winehouse has announced that she and Homer Simpson, who plays the husband of Marge Simpson on hit TV show "The Simpson's" have eloped.

"Homer is the guy I should have married years ago", Winehouse told a reporter ot hte Truth Tattler. "He loves his beer and he loves sex, what else could a gal ask for?"

Marge Simpson, who just finished a photo session for Playboy Magazine, says that she wasn't surprised at hearing the news. "Those two have been on a road towards each other for a long time. I'm happy for them. I also hear that things between Bart (her TV son) and Miley Cyrus have heated up a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if a soon-coming announcement about THEIR wedding coming up in Gabbies Babble."

Marge, who recently turned down a marriage proposal from Billy Bob Thornton because she said that he was just being silly, has still been seen with Thorton at a lot of New York night spots.

"That's where all the action is", stated Marge. "Plus you have to stay out there if you want your show and career to continue to be successful."

Meanwhile, Amy Winehouse Simpson says she will make a few appearances on the hit TV Show.

"I got some good songs ready with Lisa on the saxaphone. Maybe do some old Billie Holiday stuff."

"Right now, Homer and I are on cloud nine. Somehow I always thought that was just a figure of speech. Homer, come on over her to little Wino you big hunka hunka you!"
