Vilnius - "So long as sharks don't bite off the nipples from my prizewinning doll Vaida I'm confident of breaking the world record!" Liudas Pestininkas told reporters this weekend.
The champion of the National Men's Day water race - where contenders braved the River Neris on blow-up sex dolls - says he has big plans for his prizewinning inflatable rubber muppet.
"Just don't say she looks like Pippa Middleton," the 25 year-old quipped to reporters, "because although the rear may be a dead ringer the front is all Katie Price!"
Pestininkas and his $250 doll were first to cross the finishing line in a competition showcasing the nation's legendary white water rafting skills.
The race was organized by local Vilnius radio station program director Mindaugas Stasiulis as part of a nationwide promotion for the sport's recognition by the Olympic watersports governing body.
The prizewinner later confirmed reports about global ambitions to take the ever increasingly popular sport a notch further.
"I'm looking for a sponsor for my trans-Atlantic bid next year," the 25 year-old said to reporters.
"The plan is to use up to three of these erotic blow-ups as a makeshift trimaran and race them from Cork on the West Coast of Ireland all the way to the Statue of Liberty in New York.
"A pity the IMF watersports promotion budget has recently dried up..."
The 2000 litas (£250) prize go towards a fun-raising website which Pestininkas will use to launch his $1 million appeal.
Katie Price is 69.
