Cairo - Today in a surprise move, Mubarak announced plans to build a huge new sandstone two headed camel Sphinx. The new sphinx will sit guarding the Nile with the heads appearing to be ready to drink from the Nile River. Mubarak has also agreed to step down as President immediately.
Thousands of protesters are now in line to apply for the nearly 27,000 jobs to be created by the new project. Ancient methods will be used to cut and move the huge blocks of sandstone needed to create the new monstrous sized Sphinx.
"This is what we need," said Abayomi, from the tourism Ministry. "We have been dormant for thousands of years, now we can show the world what we really are about. We will not use slaves, we will pay people fair wages for their work, plus their dance performances for tourists and posing with tourists for photos.
Tourists will also get to join in and help hoist or pull the large blocks into place. "Of course, people like a hands on experience, let them come and experience working on a huge project such as this. The sweating, the blood coming out through cracked sun burned skin, mal-nutrition, vomiting, the crack of the whip and other fun things." said Abayomi.
