It's a well known fact that Owls are the only birds that can see the colour blue. This was blatantly obvious at the Annual Fashion Awards in Cleckheaton, where Stanley, a 3 foot Tawny scooped the main prize. His outfit consisted of a vintage denim jacket like James Dean used to wear, and a lovely pair of distressed denim jeans to match.
He just looked right, and with his hair quiffed up to finish that classic 50's look there was only going to be one winner.
Event organiser Brenda said 'It's always satisfying when natural choices are made. Great lines, using colours you know work. Stan knows blue works for him and it showed today. Quite what the canary in the green drainpipes was thinking I'll never know.'
Award winner Stanley quipped 'The whole day's been a hoot.'
