The Russians are airing a recent video of a drunken, hallucinating squirrel, apparently celebrating Russia's bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
The squirrel has bulging eyes and is staggering about mumbling incoherently in Russian. It cannot be confirmed that this is his reaction to the 2018 World Cup, but so far, that's what observers believe because the timing is right.
It makes one think, however, if the Russians can't even control the drinking habits of their squirrels...how will they cope in 2018 with thousands of drunken British Football Hooligans marauding through their cities, laying waste to beautiful historic buildings, looting, pillaging and raping Russian citizens.
I truly hope this does happen (well, not the raping part)....then we can sit back and laugh as the Russians rebuild their beautiful buildings using the profits made from hosting the biggest event on the Football Calendar in 2018.
That'll teach 'em.
