Police are on the look out for a group of elderly Vikings who have, allegedly, absconded with an equally elderly Native American Woman.
According to DNA tests, the erstwhile ragtag troupe are approximately 1000 years old, The discovery of a gene found in just 80 Icelanders links them with early Americans who may have been brought back to Iceland by Viking raiders.
The discovery means that the female slave was in Europe five centuries before Christopher Columbus epic voyage of discovery in 1492. Mr Columbus was unavailable for comment at the time of going to press.
Interpol have warned members of the public not to approach the group, as they may well be armed and quite possibly legged to boot.
