Former Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, has been hospitalised today, suffering from what pundits are describing as acute self delusion. Mr Rudd was witnessed by a number of people declaring to anybody who cared to listen that he was the "Messiah" and people should bow down to his every utterance.
An off-duty Police officer heard Mr Rudd talking and immediately twigged that something wasn't right when he heard the former PM say "...that waif Gillard will burn in hell, mark my words."
A spokesperson for Mr Rudd stated that the 52 year old was being placed in hospital "for a bit of a rest". The greater Australian electorate will eagerly await his rapid recovery.
