Our home and 'native lands'

Terrified 'believers' are calling for a recall of ALL TRUMPETS since hearing about Ron Weinland's prophecy. Seven Trumpets are to be heard heralding the end of the world. Too late for the first one, which apparently was sounded in 2008.

I didn't hear it, did you? Apparently it heralded the 'downward spiral of the World's economy'. Tell that to the homeless and starving people of the word for whom this means absolutely nothing. It's the rich who should be worried in my opinion.

So now we have to worry about trumpets. I hope all you trumpeters out there are feeling particularly guilty having caused all of this mayhem.

Hand in your trumpets because apparently there is worse to come. However, a cautious Ron Weinland does say that God can change his mind if he so wishes.

But I don't want to risk being there at the end of the World on a whim of God's. He might be in a bad mood that day, so let's melt down the trumpets and make something useful out of them. Like, shelters for the homeless.

I've been doing some reasearch, as you know, regarding these religious people who call themselves prophets. I read today that a fella named Paul Crouch issued a DEATH THREAT against anyone who would come against The Trinity Broadasting Network.

OK it was issued around 1997 but hell, it scares the hell out of me, that he calls himself a Christian.

Oral Robert's prophecies have been proven wrong time and time again, yet people still throw money at him. He doesn't have a conscious but he has a huge bank account.

Mike Gendron writes a 'lead in' to an article he wrote saying, "Since we are now living in the age of religious tolerance and ecumenical unity......."

My goodness, he is living in a bubble or on a different planet. Does he really believe this? Just look at the news and see what trouble religion is continuing to cause.

He goes on to say, "There may be nothing more important than warning people who are being deceived about their eternal destiny."

My question: "Who is doing the deceiving?"
The one thing that bothers me most is that most wars are being fought in the name of some religion or other.

Atheists just don't care. You never see armies of atheists taking up arms and fighting for a cause because they just don't care.

Atheists just want to get on with life in a peaceful way. They're not worried about earning points to get into heaven because they don't believe in heaven.
They're kind (the ones I know) and don't go pushing THEIR beliefs into anyone else's face.

Think about it for a while. Would you rather have a kindly deed done for you by an atheist or a Christian who is collecting points for their passage through the so called Pearly Gates? I know which one I'd choose every time.

I was just joking about gathering up all the trumpets and melting them down to make something useful. They are useful musical instruments make lovely sounds, excluding 'Taps'of course.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
