Al Gore is snowed in at an undisclosed location in Washington after the coldest weather for nearly 100 years. He had been due to give a series of Global Warming lectures in the Washington area but because of the freezing spell he has been snowed in surrounded by snow up to 12 feet deep.
Al spoke to us by telephone and said "I will eventually carry out my scheduled lectures because Global Warming will eventually melt the snow and I will be able to get out of here"
At one point it was suggested that Al could be rescued by helicopter to take him to his next Global Warming lecture but Al did not want to bring to much attention to the situation being rescued from twelve feet of snow to give a global warming lecture.
