Sudan finally demonstrated, once and for all, that they don't know what the hell they are doing. After whipping and imprisoning women for wearing trousers....an act which is not illegal, they backed down and freed one of the women who had the balls and connections to make a stink.
The chief of the morality/fashion police, Achmed al Confusedashell, noted in an exclusive interview with this reporter that he feels he has struck some kind of half-assed blow for purity. Amplifying, he admits he doesn't know exactly what the blow accomplished but feels the intimidation was "well worth it."
"Women in Sudan will now think twice about even appearing in public," he stated. "If we keep enforcement of a non-existent law as arbitrary as possible they will never know what to do and what to wear and fear will keep them inside."
When asked why he wants to keep women inside, Mr. al Confusedashell responded that he didn't really know but it made him feel really great to intimidate women. Plans are being drawn up to go after little girls next.
