Yesterday, Pakistan Prez announced that he is putting up one of the several golden scissors, used by Mr. Jinha during 1937-47, for sale.
A billboard, hung outside Pakistan embassy in Afghanistan, read thus:
"Do you wanna own a pair of golden scissors in exchange of your medivial spoils??
Rush to Pakistan"
For last 62 years, these golden scissors were preserved by every military & civilian head of the Pakistan state. But Mr. Zardari, under tremendous pressure to buy peace against horror (recession), decided to sell off these artifacts.
It has been learnt that an ardent fan of Mr. Jinha who is also a committed Jihadi has already purchased a pair of scissors and put them for display in Swat.
Mr. Brooke, special envoy of US, has termed this sale as "misfortune" stating a reason that "medivial spoils ain't worth of contemporary scissors"
India, the neighbour country, is still reserving its comments on this sale.
