Tehran - Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced today that Iran has purchased controlling shares of the American fast food giant McDonalds.
A jubiliant Amnadinejad said "Converting McDonalds to fanatical extremism has been underway for years."
Attempting to silence fundamentalists Ahmadinejad explained, "It's not that we have given up on terrorism but the holy circle has agreed that McDonalds is the best way forward to achieve Muslim expansion worldwide due to their global network based on the strategy of giving small children worthless plastic toys made in China."
Ahmadinejad then displayed an artist's rendition of a Moslem version of Ronald McDonald sporting a four day beard stubble and the featured product line "The McAngry Meal."
Signs on the golden arches worldwide are to be replaced with the slogan "Billions and Billions Told."
