A baby boy wasted 9 precious months of his life trapped within the belly of his mother, a court was told.
The child - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was trapped during all that time and only fed from nutrients he scrounged from the mother.
"It is a sick state of affairs that an innocent child can be held inside a human body against its will in this day and age", said a human rights campaigner.
The child was given neither clothing nor any stimulation aside from being played soft rock music from the late '70's and early '80's, which was piped in from an outside source - possibly an iPod.
"This amounts to a major breach of human rights. A child should not be made listen to shit music from bands like Stix and Journey. It is a serious violation", added the excitable human rights bint.
The woman at the centre of the controversy eventually released the child after doctors intervened. The baby was obviously in distress and cried a lot. It also had difficulty seeing and was unable to speak due to never being thought how to by his cruel master.
The jury in the case is currently deliberating and a final verdict is expected by the end of the week.
