Halifax, Canada- An ant infestation in Halifax, Nova Scotia has Beatle, Paul McCartney, worried. The world-renowned tune smith and musician is set to play Halifax on July 11th.
"I can't stand insects," stated Paul. "...and apparently these are European fire ants which are right up there at the top of the list of creatures you don't want to feed your children to. Needless to say, I won't be bringing any children but it's the ticket buying public I worry about. Leave your children at home is what I say, 'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away'...unless you want their pictures to start appearing on milk cartons."
When asked how he thought a European fire ant could carry away a youngster, Mr. McCartney replied, in an uncharacteristically abrupt manner that this reporter puts down to Mr. McCartney's advanced years, "..hey dude...shit happens," contradicting any sense of of subtle word use the former Beatle and knight-of the-realm may have previously exhibited.
