Madonna, the adoption crazy pop star, has launched a legal effort to adopt boxer Ricky Hatton.
In launching the case, Madonna's legal representative described how she had been shocked that a young man would be encouraged to fight someone clearly so much better at fighting than them, whilst their parents looked on.
Hatton's parents, Ray and Carol, have been strong supporters of his career, including the decision to fight Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao.
It appears that the main argument that Madonna's lawyers will present, will be that through the supporting of his fighting activities, and ballooning weight outside of the ring, Hatton's parent are not acting in the best interests of "Young Ricky".
