TALIBANISTAN: Now that the Pakistan National Assembly has passed a resolution approving Sharia law in the Malakand district of the Swat Valley, Taliban leaders are demanding that all female children of Pak politicians living overseas return "home".
"As a sign of good faith, to show the world, particularly the US that this government is with us and not against us, all these politicians should bring their daughters home from overseas. President Zardari should set the first example by bringing his daughters home from the UAE. We will find them good, religious, wild-eyed, militant=jihadi boys as husbands", said a prominent Taliban leader.
The US has expressed great concern over the passing of this law, but many Pakistani Ministers [who conveniently hold British passports] say "this is much ado about nothing".
President Zardari told CNN: "You see Lah-ree, ve have nothing to vurry about. This is a good Islamic law of equal opportunity. From now on not only vill vimmin and girls be flogged but also opposition members who question my authority".
PM Yousuf Raza Gilani who tried to cut in saying "But I am the real ruler of Pak.." was immediately hauled away by AKA-47 toting, black-turbaned Taliban chanting "Long Live Talibanistan".
