A dour Scottish man was today arrested in Washington in an attempt to display what police describe as a" huge fiscal stimulus package" to frightened shoppers.
Startled onlookers describe a rather dishevelled and haggard looking man with flabby jowls asking passersby if they would show him their G20 spot so he could stimulate it with his package. Anyone unfortunate enough not to escape his gaze was subjected to the sight of his package, which he produced from a suspicious looking red briefcase.
"He was clearly drunk on delusion and stank of cheap lies," claims an arresting police officer.
The German leader, Angela Merkel and bank of England chief Mervyn King told the "Brown and out" to leave his stimulus package alone and move away.
"We told him to leave it alone and wait to see if the previous attempts to generate liquidity in the system had been successful as a lack of interest had left his members economy flaccid and lifeless".
The incoherent, belligerent, and indignant Scot was encouraged by "new kid on the block", Barak Obama who was also deeply intoxicated with success.
They staggered around in a lurid display of mutual bravado and idiocy, encouraging each other to describe tales of ever more ridiculous and lurid figures.
The ranting Scot was reminded that he was the architect of the British "Light touch technique," financial policy in which light fingered weasels and whizz kids had filled their boots right up to their toxic assets by gambling away peoples savings and pension funds, overstretching the banks share value etc.
"It seemed a bit rich being lectured on prudence, thrift, and hard work from a bum that had let the pigs in the farmyard run amok and do as they please," claimed Les Bollocks who recently found his pension to be worthless.
Mr Brown was finally detained under a public order contravention. He was arrested and charged for unloading a large quantity of bullshit in a public space.
"He became very abrasive and self righteous leading to a moral compass being thrown at a member of the public who dared question his wisdom. Finally, we had to restrain Gordon before he injured himself or us, anymore."
