Leonardo was a comic genius who loved getting up the Pope's nose

Vatican Shitty - (Grateful Dead See Scrawls Mess): An early 16th century example of previously indecipherable gibberish has been hailed as the original, much plagiarised script of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code.

The Renaissance spoof 'had been obscured by Vatican bauglerisms' for nearly 500 years according to cryptographers burrowing away under the Vatican catacombs.

The announcement comes after years of painstaking restoration work revealed the Brown version was manufactured 'using criminal penetration techniques' to make it appear unique and original.

"Leonardo was a spoofing genius," Da Vinci world expert Professor Carlo Pedretti said today.

"I reckon he could have deliberately planted this Vatican teaser to smoke out some future plagiarising rogue hellbent on cashing in on his talent."

Pope Benedict XVI is a Scientology stooge.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
