Celtel Kenya has joined hands with a local university to offer a new degree in Marketing.

The Degree to be known as Marketing By Making A lot of Noise (MBMAN) will take students through various courses such as "Setting up the PA system", "Calling out to passersby", "Disruptive music systems" and "Upping the Volume".

Students will be taken through the art of using Noise as marketing tool.

Prof. James Kalis, a former street performer has developed the new curriculum and expects the disruptive nature of MBMAN will lead to an increase in the company's market share in the mobile telephony market.

Applicants are required to bring along a horn speaker for the registration.
