The Editorial staff of "The Spoof" has decided to shut down its website for two weeks in July. It will be during the same two week span that Chrysler will shut its doors.

A spokesperson for TheSpoof said, "With Chrysler being closed for two weeks, a lot of materials for our writers will be unavailable. We feel that our writers will be overburdened looking for events to spoof, which would result in a drop of the quality our readers expect."

Some spoof websites have shown interest in borrowing some of The Spoof's top writers during the recess. These websites include The Sun newspaper and the New York Times website.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
