But the dig goes on...

St Martin, Jersey - (Reuterus & Ass Mess): Jersey's First Minister has mounted a deception campaign on his Fakebook blog entry according to outraged Bergerac fans.

Senator Frank Walker has been told to quit after thousands of upset callers rang the BBC complaining he'd smeared their favorite 80s show.

"And now he's dragged John Nettles, the show's star, into this hideous fiasco," one aggrieved Bergerac fan said today, stung by Walker's remarks on the social nitworking site.

Senator Walker's Fakebook entry has famously hinted that hundreds of BBC extras hired during the detective series' ten year reign have been mistaken for Haut de la Garenne's molestation witnesses.

"All this digging up of our famous Jersey Royal potato beds is undignified and a foul slur on the Island's reputation," Walker wrote on his blogsite today.
