WASHINGTON: Well-known US pollster John Zigzag has just confirmed what the American media has always known but clearly avoided mentioning.
Americans are not racist, as evidenced by the number of white men who have been voting for Barack Obama. But they are definitely misogynist.
"Despite pretending that we have come a long way as a nation, Americans are simply not ready to vote for a woman. We hate women more than we hate Blacks", said Mr. Zigzag. "Why else would a lightweight like Obama - the Unknown Unknown to quote Donald Rumsfeld - command such an incredulous lead? Why is gutless Gov. Bill Richardson holding off on his endorsement?"
Mr. Zigzag said he was also surprised by the number of women who were voting for Obama. "It's this Freudian thing that women have with their mothers; constantly seeking approval and not getting it. So they're transferring their hostility onto Hillary. I mean look at Oprah's dysfunctional childhood. I'm appalled at the herd mentality of women, they have no opinions unless it's blessed by Oprah. It's pathetic how these needy women act as if they are always in therapy. That's why they resent Hillary's toughness".
Feminists gave Mr. Zigzag a rousing cheer but Michelle Obama denounced his comments before the congregation of a Black church. "Aint nobody good as ma man" she thundered from the pulpit.
