The worlds richest man, Sheikh Ur-Handhii, has died, following a skiing accident in Canada. The 109 year old Sheikh, or 'Head man of a thousand deserts' as his friends liked to call him, was on a ski lift on Whistler Mountain when his robes got entangled, leaving him unable to get off as the chair approached the gear wheel.
An eyewitness described the scene as 'Vanilla ice cream with raspberry sauce'.
The Sheikh's vast fortune began with a paper mill and a camel glue factory on the edge of the Sahara desert. A particularly windy day saw the accidental formation of sandpaper and he never looked back.
A family spokesman said that his 61 wives were too upset to talk. He added that funeral arrangements would be made as soon as things had been cleared up.
