RAFAH, Gaza Strip (Reuters) - Paris Hilton's visit to the region culminated in a frenzy of Palestinian interest as she revealed her bush to startled crowds. Thousands rushed towards the gaping hole, as Egyptian troops shot high into the air, and made efforts to disperse the crowd.
Hamas officials were quick to condemn everybody involved, but were incapable of stemming the flood of young Palestinians eager to catch a glimpse of Hilton's hirsute nether regions.
Egyptian security forces told the crowd over loudspeakers that the hole would be plugged at 3 p.m. (8 a.m. EST), and appealed for volunteers. However security sources said orders had yet to be given to fully seal the area.
