New York, NY - Boeing officials today celebrated the launching of the worlds largest ever Hydrogen Zepplin, aimed directly at Air Bus facilities in France. Thousands of people were on hand to see the half a mile long dirigible, named the Led Zepplin after the band of the same name. The ship is carrying over 2000 passengers, dwarfing the number carried by the new 2 story air bus.
One passenger has this to say when asked if they were nervous about the 2 million cubic feet of hydrogen floating them to their destination, "I really don't think its dangerous these days like when the Hindenberg burned, because these days they have all these nifty little fire extinguishers. Besides were suppose to dock at the Eiffel Tower before it goes on to Air Bus, I don't see what could go wrong?"
Boeing Officials could not be reached for comment but they did issue this statement, "To the gravy sucking pigs of Air Bus. Just who the bloody hell do you think you are? We'll see who gets the last laugh! Were going to have an open air triple decker plane by 2012."
And the race continues!
