AUSTRALIA -- In what has become a first for the Australian Federal Government and Australia,Prime Minister Mr Johnny Howard has declared a total ban on illegal arms.
'Little Johnny' as he is affectionately known claims the response has been incredible.
So far hundreds of illegal arms have been handed into authorities,some having up to twelve fingers per hand.
One woman who wishes to remain anonymous claims to have many illegal arms and is not giving them up "They have been in my family for years,my lover(now deceased) was an octopuss... god I loved those arms."
An amnesty has been set up and holders must hand in their illegal arms within the next 48 hours or risk ,being nabbed by the long arm of the law.
Legal arms owners are up in arms over what they see as strong arm tactics by the government.
