The big news from within the corridors of power is that the Premier, Mr Gordon Brown has admitted to being a huge fan of none other than Topcat George Galloway himself.
"I simply love him," he is said to have said, before pausing for a dazzling white smile. "For years GG has been a thorn in TB's rear end. Despite what people say, I've got a roomful of posters and memorabilia dedicated to this lion of a Scot."
The revelation comes after GB was advised by his PR people to ditch his dour Scot routine for one a little more charismatic."
Upon hearing these comments Braveheart GG said; "Sanguinarius homo indomitus est, et se me dite cum mendacia."
On being informed of this, and him and TB being likened by GG as being one side each of the same backside, Gord grinned sheepishly and simply said; "It'll take more than that to overcome my indefatiguability."
A bemused Lord Govan, Sir Alex Ferguson, who also happens to be a big (closet) GB fan retorted; "that attention seeking Galloway could start a fight in an empty room. Up the Gers!"
