Victoria Beckham, the celebrity British popstar and former Spice Girl, is today bathing in the success of her first American TV show, after 'Victoria Beckham Is Coming To America To Gloat' was aired last night on the Self-Indulgence Channel.
In the show, a spoof fly-on-the-wall documentary, Beckham is seen by a hundred million viewers staring into mirrors, trying on designer clothes, and barking orders at her personal assistant, who is a sight better looking than her boss.
Beckham, real name Posh Spice, is often confused with the veteran British actress Sue Pollard, due to her insistence at wearing 'big glasses'. The show was slated by critics who called it "exhausting", and said it "smacked of too much fame".
Spice, aside from being a second rate singer, is married to England and LA Galaxy footballer David Beckham, who has an IQ lower than that of his two young sons.
Patt Morrison of the Los Angeles Times said the hour-long programme was "appalling" and described Mrs Spice as "over-hyped", "unpleasant" and "thick".
"See?" chirped husband David. "I told you they'd like you!"
