BBC - 11/7/07: A new report out today published in the Royal Society's Journal states that the sun's activities are not the cause of Global Warming as was previously revealed in the TV program "The Great Global Warming Scandal", and that anthropological activities are the major cause.

A TheSpoof.com writer, known only as "ranger121" published the exclusive story some five days ago, in advance of today's report.

In an exclusive interview, the normally reclusive reporter was found in his cardboard box under a motorway bridge which spans the M6.

"Well, I just guessed, actually. I had all the information sent to me by a mate on the net, and I just put all the pieces together and wrote the item," he said, between bites of a Big Mac. "It's very nice to get an exclusive now and again, even if it was mostly guesswork. Today, though, I feel fully vindicated, and will be expecting a large cheque from someone for the exclusive."

When asked about the "hot air from Parliament", which has not been mentioned by the scientists, our reporter blamed their statistics.

"They've only taken a small part of the numbers and crunched them up to make something the wife will believe," he said, "It'll come out, just you see. I have faith in my sources."

The scientists were not available for comment today, and are thought to be on the roof of the Palace of Westminster, doing something.
