London, RootArse: - Next week the President plays host to the British Prime Minister and it is rumoured that Mr Bush has some gifts awaiting Mr Blair's arrival, but the lesser heard rumour mill is saying that Tony also has a little something for his old chum George.
The soon to be ex Prime Minister of England will be visiting George W Bush next week for his last official visit whilst in office. This will be a historic moment as it is the last time the two statesmen will be meeting in their present roles.
Mr Blair has commissioned a huge statue of the two leaders from a famous London company that specialises in statues that are very large.
A TheSpoof.com reporter was sent forthwith to discover the details and spoke with chief chiseller, Eric Shon who said that "Mr Blair was a complete love, a very nice chap in person and much taller than he appears on TV"
We asked the artist if he could give us any insight into what kind of statue was commissioned for Mr Bush's present from Mr Blair.
He remained tight lipped, as he didn't want to give too much away, but did ask the Prime Minister how he would like to have himself and the President posed and also if he would like them mounted, Mr Blair answered "No, just holding hands would be fine"
