Vatican historians have uncovered receipts indicating that Renaissance man and homosexual, Michelangelo Buonorati had lodgings in the Basilica of San Pietro. Catholic gay Liberationists initially celebrated the finding.
Gay Theologian Hans Inyer-Panz reveled in the proof that gay sex was going on under the famous cupola di San Pietro: "Just think", the Dutch Church historian insisted, "Buonorati with his buonoparte in some Italian hunk, night after night amid the incense and Gregorian chant, kinky, no!?"
Other gay and lesbian theologians laughed at Inyer-Panz' naivete. "There's been more gay sex in the church than indulgence -selling", according to Msgr Bygphat Kweer, "Popes, bishops, you name it they all genuflected and spent hours on their knees, if you know what I MEAN! I guess it's cool to think of the great Michelangelo hosting queens for a night. What a pick up line: 'Want to come up to my place and see my cupola?'!"
