Frankfurt - (Rotters): A hungry Frankfurter was in shock today after taking a bite of his Cadbury's Finger of Fudge chocolate treat and noticing an unexpected ingredient: a human fingertip complete with fingernail.
"At first he thought it might be an unexpected nut or a raisin", said a police spokesman. "But when he brought it in to the Station for us to have a look at it there was no mistake.
"Forensics are now examining the item and we have asked for the entire factory batch of the remaining chocs to be recalled, in case there is a whole corpse buried in there somewhere."
Asked by reporters if it was ironic for a human fingertip to be found in the Cadbury's item, the police spokesman said: "Yes, it could be a rather sick joke because the traditional place to dump dismembered human remains in the European Union is in those gritty Ferrero-Rocher Ambassador's Specials."
The police investigation continues.
