In a dramatic twist in the latest 'Cash for Peerages' debacle, Downing Street was today denying that it has a secret communication system for exclusive use by the premier and his aides.

As the western world grapples with the potential consequences of such a system, Spoof has revealed that it has all been a great big misunderstanding.

"Communications had been picked up using the latest technology however it was revealed to be a Nintendo DS wireless gaming toy that had been left on when President Bush last visited"

It is thought that Mr Bush had been locked into a battle for supremacy over the Tamagochi corner shop with the Prime Ministers son Leo.

It is not the first time controversy has visited number 10. In a secret document leaked in the 1970's, Liberal Party visitors were alleged to have sneaked in a secret 'She male' at a party held by the then premier, Sir Ted Heath.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
