A man travelling home on a motorcycle near the Cambodian city of Battambang had a shock this afternoon, when he glanced up at the sky and saw a cloud formation which reminded him of his favorite fictional steam locomotive, Thomas the Tank Engine.
Thomas, created by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry for 'The Railway Series', is a little blue engine who operates on the Island of Sodor, under the supervision of Sir Topham Hatt, also known as the Fat Controller. His fellow engines, Henry, James, Edward, Gordon, Percy and the oddly-named Duck, work alongside him, and have various adventures, which miraculously teach children useful skills that they can use in their everyday lives, such as honesty, trust and compassion. None of this is particularly important, however, as I am only talking about the shape of a cloud.
The cloud was spotted by Moys Kenwood, who said that, as he watched, the formation moved from right to left (north to south) at around 20 miles per hour. This is important, because 20mph is exactly the speed at which Thomas the Tank Engine trundles along his little branch line tracks!
What was even more amazing, according to Kenwood, was that little puffs of steam could be seen emerging from the train's chimney! That's right: clouds that looked like clouds!
Eventually, the cloud moved far off to the south, before it changed shape into an enormous penis.
