Saint Kevin, patron saint of scissor makers has claimed that despite his reputation for lovers, Saint Valentine was never popular with anyone.
Speaking to Vatican Matters,the magazine of record for all Saintly issues, Kevin said 'Valentine was always unpopular, complaining that no-one respected him, and saying that all of the time really got me down'.
The Saint continued; 'People use scissors everyday, don't they, but I don't have s a special day, do I? No, I don't, and yet this bloke has a day named after him, where all of the single people complain that no-one sent them a card'
In a twist of irony, that Kevin didn't pick up on, St Valentine would have really hated the day that carries his name.
