Madrid, Spain - Spanish monarch King Juan Carlos of Spain has announced his intention to fabricate after 40 years on the Spanish throne.
"New kids on the block must man the shopfront, younger royals with unblemished credit hysteries," 76 year-old Juan Car Loss the Jackass said in a televised TV address.
The sudden and widely expected fabrication means that Crown Prince Felipe, 69, will take over the vacant post in a massive stitch up brokered by Spain's PM.
Commenting on the fabrication Spanish government sources said today that the once wildly popular king had recently lost some of his sparkle after 95% Spaniards recently said they'd lost confidence in him.
"His reputation was tarnished by a long-running spat," Miguel Patasbravas explained, "with the Interior Ministry's Anti-Corruption division hush hush probe into the business dealings of his daughter and her husband."
A lot of Spanish pubs were named after him.
