Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that reassuring words from Swedish pop group ABBA about not wanting nuclear weapons still does answer the question if the European singing sensations recognize Israel.
In a speech at the pro-Israel American Israel Public Affairs Committee's annual policy conference, Netanyahu had a message for Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, the four members of ABBA "Recognize the Jewish state. No excuses, no delays, it's time."
As yet there has been no response from the group.
Meanwhile, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, has called on ABBA to to stop stirring the pot and meddling in Middle Eastern affairs.
