MOSCOW - Russia's national news agency, Vodkavich, has stated that the Russian government will not put up with the West's fad of twerking.
The national news agency stated that two members of The Moscow Winter Ballet Troop were observed twerking backstage at a recent performance in honor of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
The two dancers were identified as Ekaterina Yarosovo, 22, and Svetlana Krashinko, 19.
Both women were promptly arrested by four members of Russia's KGB.
Miss Krashinko stated that she was very sorry and she stressed that she had no idea that twerking was frowned upon in Russia.
According to Vodkavich, both Yarosovo and Krashinko are no longer members of The Moscow Winter Ballet Troop and they will be restricted from ever dancing in public anywhere in Russia.
SIDENOTE: The Russian news agency added that should either of the dancers be caught twerking they could end up being exiled to Siberia.
