The professor went on to say that a manuscript of a diary that Mary kept had recently been discovered. Here is an excerpt of Mary's journal:
My five year old son Jesus has now put off cleaning his room for days on end. I said to him "Jesus Christ, were you born in a barn?" but I stopped myself right there. He was indeed born in a barn.
