A BBC poll has revealed that Germany is now the second most popular country on the planet after North Korea. The North Koreans pipped the Germans at the post because their leader, Kim Jong Un, looks like a cuddly Teddy Bear and Angela Merkel resembles the rear end of a Highland Bull.
Germany has shot up the popularity polls mainly because of Bayern Munich (Which is not actually in Germany) vs Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final being played on the holy grass of Wembley, England.
The English also shot up the table due to the fact that they are hosting a prestigious footy final between 2 nearly German teams and have forgotten everything because the English love Mercedes, BMW, Miele, AEG, Porsche, Schumacher; you name it, if it's German, the Brits love it, including Bratwurst.
North Korea have lodged a protest because they actually want to be the most hated nation on the planet, but this particular prize is reserved for Israel; no comment required!
It has taken Germany many years of hard labour and super efficiency to reach such great heights after their rather difficult past. However, cream always swims to the top sooner or later and hopefully nobody will dare attempt to take this position away from them again; god help us all if they do!
