Tehran - The nation's dreaded Mutaween police have raided a site whose name translates loosely as a 'nuclear brothel' amid TV headlines about the discovery of uranium 'ore.
Hardline Sharia Law enforcers swooped this morning on a southern coastal area fast breeder site suspected of immoral self-enrichment.
And impounded some soiled burqas covered in yellowcake in an ongoing search for evidence of 'toxic' rum babas.
Commenting on the bust a Free Radio Iran bulletin criticised the religious police's stand on alleged immorality, emphasising the nation's need for more indigenous 'ore.
But a spokesperson for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad insisted the Mutaween must be allowed to do its job properly.
"The country's got all the damn 'ore it could possibly need."
