Beards were dancing in the streets of Iran (they do have streets there right?) after the Iranian military announced it's latest weapon in the ongoing war with The West and The South and The North and most probably The East as well. In fact anyone that hasn't sent Iran a birthday card in the last 400 years is a potential target.
Sky Admiral, General, Lord Commander of the Loyal Military Forces of Glorious Iran Bashier said:
"We have developed the first military drone that can takeoff vertically. This is an imperative step in our ongoing battle against the invaders that threaten us from all sides."
They need the vertical takeoff function because of the lack of runways in the country.
"Runways are an affront to Allah! Well we think they are one of us spilt some water and smudged the Quran a bit. So it's either runways or rioting that are an affront, but we shall take no chances."
Suggestions that the vertical takeoff drone may in fact just be a underpaid soldier jumping up and down have not been commented on.
