Much of India has been thrown into darkness as a massive power cut plunged many Indian cities into pure darkness including Calcutta. Many of the local citizens, who haven't got the pleasure of electricity, went on the rampage, looting and breaking in shop windows as the police helplessly attempted to thwart the England style riots and only the sacred cows remained unharmed
A police barrier with loudspeakers gave the following message out: "Those rioters who do not obey the law will be thrown into the black holes of Calcutta built by the English and will never come out again!"
This halted the rioters for a time until one clown decided to burn the Union Jack screaming, "death to all colonial powers," sparking off (without electricity) further riots.
As daylight approached the extent of the damage caused by the power cuts became visible and many black holes in Calcutta were over-filled with rioters clutching at their flat-screen TV's and other goods claiming they had bought them on the "black market".
This just goes to prove that the legacy left by the Raj wasn't such a bad thing after all as many Indians have adopted typical behaviour patterns from their ex-colonial power, Britain, who are specialists in riot behaviour and digging black holes for themselves!
