HARFOLD, Vermont--Harfold Academy has run into their first case of academic dishonesty--this on the first day of school!
Lauren Bolton, daughter of 9/11 Commission member Samuel Bolton, allegedly submitted a summer reading position paper containing information for which she gave no credit.
Said teacher Bob Crisp, "Lauren chose to write about the terrorist acts of September 11, 2001, certainly a viable topic seeing that the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 is upon us.
Crisp, however, suspected that something was awry when Bolton submitted her paper.
"The paper was meant to be 5-pages maximum, but hers was instead 575 cubic feet.
"I called her on it and luckily she came clean. I would've hated to have to read it all."
