Washington--President Obama ended his three year friendship with his Republican caddy Eric Mussel today.
"I was okay with Mr. Mussel questioning my choice of a nine iron instead of a seven iron on a long approach shot. But, when Mr. Mussel said that my desire to raise the debt ceiling was going to bankrupt our children's future, well, that was the straw that broke the camel's back."
President Obama got upset at Mr. Mussel and stormed off the course today. He later had Mr. Mussel arrested and thrown into solitary confinement at Fort Leavenworth.
"Mr. Mussel knows too much and is a threat to my re-election campaign. We can't have him informing voters about the insane debt I am creating by the high unemployment and increased government spending."
Mr. Mussel said he never thought Obama was that great of a golfer or that he was ever that close of a friend.
"The President is a very average golfer, and hasn't shown any improvement in his game; even though, he has played a lot of golf in the past three years." Mr. Mussel said.
