Because I can, that's why.

The United States government decided during their discussions on how to boost the economy, that they should take Sunday off the weekly calender. President Barack Obama stated that Sunday is an outdated idea and that it needs to be discontinued immediately.

The reasons for this huge change in the calendar is reportedly because Sundays are generally a day people have off of work and are therefor wasted time that could be spent rebuilding the economy, or at least that's what both the republican and democratic parties hope for.

Obviously, this is causing a fuss because of the anti-religious implications it brings on. Many devoted Christian's, Jew's, and Muslim's, along with many other religious organizations are filing a suit against the American government for taking the holy day away from them.

Most do believe the religious groups will win the case due to their amendment rights. However, Obama has said that the he himself will go on a limb and fight the religious rebellion in court. He also said that the only ones who still follow Sabbath are lazy schmucks who need to get off their butt's and get a job.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
