Washington DC: Entrepreneur, television personality and Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump is facing claims that his hair was born outside of the United States, thereby rendering it ineligible to hold the nation's highest office.
Liberal commentators have expressed disgust at the hypocrisy of Trump continuing to question Barack Obama's place of birth, when his own head is adorned by a foreign object.
Jack Dilbertson of the Washington Tuba writes: "He wants to be President, and he's got this thing from Taiwan or whatever sitting on his head, I mean, that's next to his brain, are you telling me its not controlling his thoughts? He was the one going on about foreigners in the Whitehouse, but heck, those chickens have come home to roost... on top of his head."
Trump's campaign office have so far refused to comment, but an aide was seen leaving a store in Delaware this week clutching several paper bags adorned with the phrase "Delaware Hair: Purveyor of the All-American Hairpiece".
